Dear Member,
As you
are aware, the month of March features
International Women's Day.
With this in mind, NHRDN Chennai is dedicating this month's
meeting to a theme focused on women professionals.
Whenever possible, we have believed in bringing
to members more than one perspective on any theme. In
this spirit, we have invited two speakers for this session.
One will share the experiences of his organisation's initatives
in the area of diversity and inclusion. The other will
bring a specialist consultant's perspective on what more needs
to be done.

Nirmala
Menon is the Founder
and CEO, Interweave Consulting Pvt. Ltd and brings with her
over 20 years' experience in multiple HR functions in India
and the United States. An alumnus of XLRI, India, Nirmala holds
an additional masters in HR from Temple University, Philadelphia,
USA. With wide, varied experience in public and private sector
organisations across industries, Nirmala led the Diversity and
Employee Relations practice for IBM India. She is also an active
member of Nasscom's D&I Steering Committee and has been a representative
in the international advisory group of the UN Global Compact
& the UNIFEM to finalise the Women's Empowerment Principles.
Ramesh
Krishnan is
the Service Delivery Operations Lead for the BPO practice
of Accenture in Chennai. His teams are responsible for
managing 18 clients,
across different BPO capabilities, in varied industries servicing
different geographies/ markets. Ramesh is a Chartered
Accountant with over twenty years of experience mainly in controllership
and CFO functions as well as in commercial functions.
As the Inclusion and Diversity Sponsor of the BPO Practice,
Ramesh oversees the implementation of Accenture's initiatives
in the area of gender diversity and inclusion.
