The Academy of Human Resources Development promotes HRD through Knowledge Generation, Knowledge Dissemination & Capacity Building activities. It provides Educational Programs, Professional Development Programs, Training Programs, and Consultancy Services. The Academy also organizes Round Table Conferences, undertakes Research Projects and provides services for the NGO Sector.

The Academy was set up by the National HRD Network in 1990, with the mission 'To develop HRD professionals & focus on HRD professionalism', Academy is exclusively devoted to this pursuit and fulfills it by enhancing expertise and values for organization effectiveness and well-being of people.

With its base at Ahmedabad, AHRD has a wide network of eminent scholars and practitioners in HRD and OD who connect with us as our Governing Board, Academic Council, Visiting Faculty, Professors Emeritus and Academy Members.
