The 12th National Conference of the National HRD Network was hosted by our own chapter! After a long gap, Chennai had the privilege of hosting the National Conference in 2008. It was held at the Convention Centre, Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai 600089, on November 28 & 29, 2008 (Friday and Saturday). Mr.S.Ramadorai, CEO, TCS Ltd was the Conference Chairman.

Prominent business leaders, transformational leaders and HR practitioners from within and outside India had their participation in the Conference, both as speakers and as delegates.

The theme of the conference - “What’s Beyond? HR’s Next Agenda”.

The theme of the conference this year is “The Conference successfully provided the HR professional a vision of the future and equip him/her with the ideas and the inspiration needed to successfully navigate it. The Conference combined contemporary concepts from leading thinkers and insightful, hands-on solutions from pioneering practitioners and offered the participants a wealth of actionable ideas.
